Some info about the vines:
Weeping and twisting vines don't break when randomtickspeed is set to 0 (unintended). https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-69305
The vines grow every time they get updated, but they only drop vines when broken 1/3 times resulting in around 3000/h per plant rates
Hazel originally had the vines attached to pistons to grow them. I found out that you could use other blocks instead
